Hmm. Inventive. But some problems with that plan as I see them include:
1)Blasting the roof is just going to mean head damage and can you really handle more of that?
2) Is it a magical elevator because maybe metal cables aren't suspending you, and it's just nothingness, or chicken feathers.
3) Also what happens when you reach the top of an elevator shaft or closed door and you're still stuck.
