"I know that eggs are high in fat, but honestly, these eggs are so good," Grizzy says, misinterpreting his hesitation. "And what's Easter without eggs?" Without waiting for an answer, she tugs him by the hand towards the mushrooms that hold the food and drinks.
"I guess it'd just be the day Jesus is resurrected." How... depressing. This mystery woman is so right: the eggs are very important. Hugo runs to the food station and takes in the spread. He turns to his partner, hand still in hers. "Toss one into my mouth."
She scrunches her nose like she smells an old egg. That is not romantic, and honestly, she had kind of forgotten that part all together.
But that hiccup is easily passed, however, as Grizzy contemplates the spread of eggs. "Okay. Soft boiled, then. So you don't choke." Concern for his safety is the height of romance, on the other hand.
Literal egg on his face. Hugo uses his tunic to wipe the yolk from his cheek. "Didn't choke!"
Hugo notices a little more yolk in his hair, above his ear. He moves to clean it, then stops. It'll stay. "For you to find me in the morning," he explains.
