Bingo doesn't seem very fun to Tracey, but asking a bunch of people a bunch of questions does. So she's here, wearing heart-shaped sunglasses despite the fact that it's night (and indoors) as she makes very slow work of her cocktail.
"Hello, Tracey," Lorcan says, looking just a little satisfied with himself already. He had bolted to get over to her table. "You speak two or more languages, don't you?"
Re: SPEED DATING BINGO: Tracey Nettlebed II & Lorcan
"Ah, Lorcan, I do," Tracey starts, sliding her sunglasses down her nose just a tad to get a better look at him. "Don't look too full of yourself now - this is a stupid game." Even as she says this, though, she's reaching for his card to try to see what kind of damage he's done already.
"A stupid game with a mystery prize," he notes, stamping off the square. Lorcan's never been competitive, but he's always been easily baited by some sort of unknown element to discover. "Bingo."
He hands her his card, which already has half the squares marked off. "Do you know what the statue of secrecy is? Typo or new art installment at the Ministry?"
Re: SPEED DATING BINGO: Tracey Nettlebed II & Lorcan
"Too curious for your own good. But, you're welcome."
Tracey examines Lorcan's card, her eyes falling on 'statue of secrecy' just as he asks; she can't help but laugh a little, unsurprised to find a typo at this very, uh, special event, but tickled by it just the same.
"Christ, I wish. A statue could maybe liven the place up a bit." She seems to remember her own card in this moment and shifts her attention to it.
"If I'm going to do this I might as well try to learn something about you. You haven't got any strange ideas about living portraits or soul mates, do you?"
"Ach, I knew you wouldn't be for soulmates. And this says you 'think they're the equivalent of holograms of dead people.' Who came up with these things?"
Lorcan thinks about this. And thinks some more. "I can understand where they're coming from. It's more an artificial recreation of another's persona than a hologram, though."
Those sunglasses look quite...Muggle-inspired to Criswell, so he already knows what he intends to ask Tracey when he takes a seat across from her. But after being chided for his previous directness, he does at least offer a greeting first and puts out a hand, "...Criswell Trelawney. I don't think we've met?"
A pause.
"...Can I ask your opinion on the Statute of Secrecy?"
Nailed it.

"Trelawney," Tracey says thoughtfully as she looks Criswell over, after a moment reaching out to take his hand and give it a short but firm shake. "I know who you are, but we haven't really met. Tracey Nettlebed, the Second."
"And aye, you can." She's decided she's not going to supply her opinion without a direct question.
The way that Tracey says his family name, with recognition but no other clear indication of what she might be thinking, puts Criswell on edge. His lips form a tight line as he shakes her hand, but he says nothing. Even if she is forming expectations or judgments based on the Trelawney name, why should he care? The name Nettlebed doesn't mean anything to him.
He draws back his hand, attention shifting as she agrees to answer his question. He looks at her, curious and expectant. And waits. And looks more.
Tracey remains quiet, sipping at her drink as she watches Criswell. Even after he says 'well' she waits a little longer, curious about his reaction, before she finally hums.
"Oh, was that the whole question? Just my general opinion?"
Criswell's reaction is subtle impatience, his dark eyes remaining on Tracey while his two of his slim fingers start to drum a silent rhythm on the tabletop. She said she'd answer, so he doesn't know what she's waiting for. When she asks for clarification, he stiffens and his fingers go still. He thought he'd gotten the point across. He'd even pronounced it clearly and correctly despite the typographical error on the card.
"Babe." Aster slides in to the seat across from Tracey, at this point in the evening not even hiding the fact that she's playing instead of working. People will find the pizza if they want it. And anyway, Tracey's family. Possibly. "How've you been? Do you want to get a winepop with me and catch up?"
"Not officially," this counts as the square, as far as she's concerned, so she checks it, and folds her knees under her chin, settling in. "But I could make it happen. And you're not wrong, flatterer, but look at you."
